Significant residual impacts to prescribed environmental matters are not authorised under this environmental authority or the Environmental Offsets Act 2014.

Records demonstrating that each impact to a prescribed environmental matter did not, or is not likely to, result in a significant residual impact to that matter must be: a) completed by an appropriately qualified person; and b) kept for the life of the environmental authority. Notwithstanding condition A13 of the Eligibility criteria and standard conditions for exploration and authorised to carry out sampling using only hand-held implements up to 100m from, but not within the Category A Environmentally Sensitive Area - Great Barrier Reef Coast Marine Park on EPM27908, within the area specified in Attachment B- Figures 1a and 1b.

Notwithstanding standard condition A13 of the Eligibility criteria and standard conditions for exploration authority is authorised to carry out activities up to 100m from, but not within the Category B Environmentally Sensitive Area - Endangered Regional Ecosystems on EPM27908, providing that no environmental harm occurs. An appropriately qualified person(s) must: Permit Environmental authority P-EA-100169459 a) undertake a pre clearance survey prior to carrying out exploration activities or disturbance within mapped areas of Matters of State Environmental Significance (MSES) on EPM27908, and b) where MSES is identified, implement a Management Plan to mitigate potential impacts of exploration activities or disturbance.

The pre clearance survey required by condition V8 must occur in accordance with the latest version of the Terrestrial Vertebrate Fauna Survey Guidelines for Queensland, Ecological Sciences, Queensland Herbarium and the Flora Survey Guidelines - Protected Plants. Wildlife and Threatened Species Definitions `appropriately qualified person' means a person who has professional qualifications, training, skills or experience relevant to the nominated subject matter and can give authoritative assessment, advice and analysis on performance relating to the subject matter using the relevant protocols, standards, methods or literature. `prescribed environmental matters' has the meaning in section 10 of the Environmental Offsets Act 2014, limited to the matters of State environmental significant listed in schedule 2 of the Environmental Offsets Regulation 2014. `significant residual impact' has meaning in section 8 of the Environmental Offsets Act 2014.
