The conditions of this environmental authority are in force until a surrender of the authority is accepted pursuant to the Environmental Protection Act 1994. The conditions apply unless an amendment is approved pursuant to the Environmental Protection Act 1994.

The environmental authority holder is to give the administering authority a financial assurance in the amount and form and at a time required by the administering authority.

The environmental authority holder must comply with each of the Standard Environmental Conditions contained in the more recent version of the Code of environmental compliance for exploration and mineral development projects. End of Schedule A Schedule H - Heritage

The relevant Code of Environmental Compliance imposes certain restrictions on mining activities with or adjacent to Category A, B or C Environmentally Sensitive Area, watercourses, wetlands and lakes. The Category B Environmentally Sensitive Area (Rocky Bluff Battery and Township, Stannary Hills to Boonmoo tramway and Irvinebank tramway) and the Category C Environmentally Sensitive Area Environmental authority (Wyndham Sandy Creek Nature Refuge) have been identified within or adjacent to the mining tenures, as identified in the attached map. You must ensure that the relevant provisions of the code are complied with.

If historical, archaeological or ethnographic sites, items, places or remains of indigenous origin are discovered during mining activities, work must immediately stop and contact be made with the administering authority.

Notwithstanding condition 12 of the Code of environmental compliance for exploration and mineral development projects, the holder of this environmental authority is authorised to carry out exploration drilling within the 500m buffer of the Emuford Battery, but not within 50m of the Emuford Battery.
