    The environmental authority holder must comply with each of the Standard Environmental Conditions contained in the Code of Environmental Compliance for Exploration and Mineral Development Projects, except Condition 13, which is replaced by the conditions B1 — B7 in this environmental authority.

    An annual report must be prepared each year and submitted with each annual return. The report must include details of exploration activities undertaken, including: GPS coordinates in GDA94 datum of constructed and/or completed drill sites; the date each drill hole was drilled; the number of drill holes proposed/completed at each drill site; the location of drill sites relevant to Category B Environmentally Sensitive Areas; the location of the drill hole(s) being converted to monitoring bores; the location of any newly constructed tracks; and details of progressive rehabilitation works completed to demonstrate compliance with conditions B5 and B6 inclusive. eee#ee%eet8 @

    The holder of the environmental authority must convert all exploration drill holes required for ongoing monitoring and evaluation purposes to monitoring bores: a) within 3 months of the exploration drill hole being drilled; and b) in accordance with the ‘Minimum Construction Requirements for Water Bores in Australia’ (Australian Government, February 2012 - or the latest available edition). AS This environmental authority authorises environmental harm as referred to in the conditions. Where this environmental authority is silent on matter, the lack of a condition or silence does not authorise environmental harm. Schedule B: Land

    The environmental authority holder must not carry out activities in category A or B environmentally sensitive areas. Activities involving machinery must not be carried out within 1km of category A environmentally sensitive areas. Prior to carrying out mining activities in a category C environmentally sensitive area, consultation must be held with the administering authority to determine if additional conditions are necessary.

    The environmental authority holder is authorised to carry out mining activities on MDL185 within 500m of category B environmentally sensitive areas where authorised under the conditions of this environmental authority.

    The environmental authority holder is authorised to undertake no more than 10 environmental and geotechnical drill holes within 500m of category B environmentally sensitive areas.

    The environmental authority holder must minimise disturbance within 500 metres of any category B environmentaily sensitive area and avoid clearing mature trees when undertaking mining activities.

    Rehabilitation of areas disturbed by mining activities within 500 metres of any category B environmentally sensitive area must be completed as soon as practicable, but no longer than 3 months after completion of the mining activities.     The environmental authority holder must ensure disturbed areas within 500 metres of any category B environmentally sensitive area are rehabilitated in such a way that promotes revegetation of native plant species consistent with those found within the 500m buffer.

    Where machinery is operating within 500m of any category B environmentally sensitive areas, the holder of the environmental authority must ensure that the risk of fire is mitigated. Definitions successor. “environmental authority” means an environmental authority (mineral development) issued by the administrating authority under the Environmental Protection Act 1994. “environmental authority holder” means the holder of this environmental authority. “environmentally Sensitive Areas” refers to locations, however large or small, that have environmental values that contribute to maintaining biological diversity and integrity, have intrinsic or attributed scientific, historical or cultural heritage value, or are important in providing amenity, harmony or sense of community. Refer to Appendix A of the Code of Environmental Compliance for Exploration and Mineral Development Projects. “standard environmental conditions” for an environmental authority, means the standard environmental conditions approved for the authority under section 549 of the Environmental Protection Act 1994.
