    For exploration activities the environmental authority holder must comply with each of the standard environmental conditions contained in the document Eligibility criteria and standard conditions for exploration and mineral development projects, except Condition A13, which is replaced by the conditions in this environmental authority.

    If there is any inconsistency between a standard environmental condition and an additional condition in this environmental authority, the additional condition prevails to the extent of any inconsistency.

    The conditions of this environmental authority are in force until surrender of the authority is accepted pursuant to the Environmental Protection Act 1994.     The environmental authority holder must not carry out activities in a Category A or B Environmentally Sensitive Area. Activities involving machinery must not be carried out within 1km of a Category A Environmentally Sensitive Area. Prior to carrying out mining activities in a Category C Environmentally Sensitive Area, consultation must be held with the administering authority to determine if additional conditions are necessary.

    The environmental authority holder is authorised to carry out mining activities on EPC1232 within 500 metres of any Category B Environmentally Sensitive Areas where authorised under the conditions of this environmental authority.

    The environmental authority holder is authorised to undertake no more than three (3) drill sites within 500 metres of any Category B Environmentally Sensitive Areas on EPC1232 in accordance with the locations shown in Figure 1.

    No dead trees within 500 metres of any Category B Environmentally Sensitive Areas are to be removed unless they are a safety risk. Permit Environmental authority EPVX00620613 B13 Tracks Existing access and fence line tracks must be used wherever possible. The holder of the environmental authority must consult with the landowner prior to establishing any new tracks within 500 metres of any Category B Environmentally Sensitive Areas. Any new tracks are to be constructed by linking naturally cleared or disturbed areas. B14 Constructed tracks within 500 metres of any Category B Environmentally Sensitive Areas must be less than 5 metres in width, including shoulder width. B15 Mowing or slashing of grasslands within 500 metres of any Category B Environmentally Sensitive Areas is to be used in the first instance. Track construction involving blade clearing of established ground cover vegetation and/or clearing of mature trees within 500 metres of any Category B Environmentally Sensitive Areas is to be minimised. Tracks within 500 metres of any Category B Environmentally Sensitive Areas should not be used when soil is saturated and prone to displacement or erosion by vehicle movement. Other Land Disturbance Activities must not include costeaning or bulk sampling. Prior to entering any area which is 500 metres from any Category B Environmentally Sensitive Areas all vehicles, machinery and equipment must be washed down in accordance with the latest procedures. Campsites must not be established within 500 metres of any Category B Environmentally Sensitive Areas. B20 All waste must be removed and disposed of offsite. B21 Burning of vegetation is not permitted. B22 Rehabilitation Rehabilitation must be undertaken in accordance with requirements of the document Eligibility criteria and standard conditions for exploration and mineral development projects, and to the satisfaction of the administering authority.
