The environmental authority holder must ensure that track intensity in the areas identified as having an Endangered Regional Ecosystem‘ does not exceed 1:500m (one track intersecting on each 500m grid) and must ensure minimal vegetation disturbance. Refer to the attached map.

The environmental! authority holder will limit total disturbance within any areas identified as having an Endangered Regional Ecosystem to a maximum area of 1% of the remnant patch up to a maximum area of 1000 square metres.

In regard to complying with Standard Environmental Condition 42, the holder of the environmental authority must revegetate the areas identified as having an Endangered Regional Ecosystem with plant species from the following regional ecosystem types. Ecosystems”, by Sattler & Williams, 1999. ‘ Important Note to Condition (B1) Condition B1 is a condition that overrides the Standard Environmental Condition (SEC) 13 to the extent that SEC 13 prohibits the holder of the environmental authority carrying out mining activities within 500 m of an Category B Environmentally Sensitive Area (ie. an Endangered Regional Ecosystem). ‘The holder of this environmental authority is authorised to carry out standard mining activities on the — relevant mining lease despite it being located within Restricted Area 206 provided that the activities do not cause any significant environmental harm to the Area’. Restricted Area 206 (Burdekin Falls Dam Catchment Area) is a Category A Environmentally Sensitive Area. END OF ENVIRONMENTAL AUTHORITY
